Join Whales for AS and A2 Levels.
We admit students for Cambridge AS and A2 Levels in Science, Commerce and General subjects. Apply online in minutes, sit a short test and interview, and you will hear back from our admissions counsellor within three working days.
How admission works
Four stages from form to offer letter. Before O Level results we can offer conditional admission based on your interview.
Submit your application
Fill in every section of the form online, or at the Whales College admission office. Make sure your details and expected or actual grades are accurate.
Hear from a counsellor
Our admissions counsellor reviews your application and contacts you within 3 working days.
Test and interview
If you meet the basic criteria, we schedule an admission test by phone or email, followed by an interview after a successful test.
Receive your offer
After a successful interview you receive an offer letter with the fee deadline, the designated bank and the list of documents to submit.
Who we look for
Grades matter, but they are not the whole story. Students can show us what they will contribute even without a perfect transcript.
- A positive attitude towards society
- A hard working nature and clear goals in life
- Respect for teachers, classmates and others
- Readiness to represent Whales with integrity
- Interest in extra curricular activities
We consider
Your application form, your admission test, your attitude and answers in the interview, plus recommendations and your record at your previous school.
Transferring into A2?
Yes, in some cases we accept students who want to change college in the middle of their A Levels, subject to available seats, AS results and an interview.
Subjects
Every A Level student takes at least three subjects plus General Paper. More subjects can be added for an extra fee. You can change subjects within the first month. See all subject streams.
Yearly admission schedule
AS Level admissions run in three rounds, both conditional (before O Level results) and unconditional. Applying early gives you the widest scholarship band.
| Round | When | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Round 1 | October to December | Highest scholarship bands and first choice of seats |
| Round 2 | January to February | Scholarships on O Level grades |
| Round 3 | April to July | Scholarships on O Level grades, subject to seats |
| A2 Level | After AS results | Final round, scholarships on AS grades |
Dates can shift slightly each year. Message us on WhatsApp for this year's exact deadlines.

Questions parents ask
Straight answers about tuition, scholarships, exams and campus life.
When is the right time to apply?
As early as possible. Round 1 runs from October to December and carries the best scholarship bands and an admission fee concession. If seats remain, we also admit students after Cambridge results are announced.
Every college says it does not allow tuition. Why should we believe you?
Because we remove the reasons students take tuition in the first place: frequent teacher changes, too little past paper practice, part time teachers, and no time for personal queries. Whales has specialist teachers for each subject, double classes, processed notes, tutorial sessions through the week, free workshops near exams, and teachers available right up to the Cambridge papers. If a student still needs help, it is our responsibility to provide it.
What does "Single Fee, Double Advantage" mean?
One college fee covers everything needed for top grades, so you do not pay again for tuition. The second advantage is time: your evenings stay free for sport, family, hobbies and rest.
What is the Complete Career Solution Programme?
CCSP prepares students for their chosen universities alongside AS and A2 studies, with career counselling and aptitude test preparation for LUMS, IBA, NUST, GIKI, Aga Khan and others. Early preparation matters because many of these tests happen just before or after Cambridge exams. Learn about CCSP.
How are students assessed during the year?
The session has four exams: Exam 1 in October, Exam 2 in December, Pre Mock in February and Mock in April. Fortnightly quizzes and monthly home assignments add to each result, and our ranking system tracks progress across the year. See the ranking system.
Do you hold parent teacher meetings?
We do not rely on the traditional PTM alone. Parents are welcome to visit the campus at any time to discuss their child's progress, so issues are solved without waiting for a scheduled meeting.
Can my child combine science and commerce subjects?
Yes. Students can choose any combination alongside their compulsory subjects, and can switch subjects within the first month of the session.
How does the House system work?
Whales has four Houses. Every new student is placed in a House at random (siblings share a House) and stays in it throughout college. Sports and other intra college events are contested between Houses.
Do you provide notes and books?
Yes. Teachers provide well processed notes, cover past papers thoroughly and use visual presentations, supported by double classes, extra classes and workshops.
What activities can students join?
Sports festivals, debates, MUNs, leadership conferences, societies, student council elections, Milad, annual dinners, picnics and more. See life at Whales.
